Happy Homemaker Monday

The Weather:::

It's about 80 degrees today.  It actually feels nice.

Right now I am:
Sitting on the couch, relaxing...

Thinking:

Homemaking Tips:::
I don't have any, other than making homemade dishwasher soap because I just made another batch this weekend.

Looking around the house:::
Ben is resting and watching tv in his room.  The girls are laying around in the living room.  I'm just being lazy.  The house smells amazing thanks to my fall candles.

From the camera:::

On my prayer list:::

I just finished the Widow of Larkspur Inn...started off great and then it fizzled for me LOL

What are you making for your fireplace?

Yea, I'm having a hard time staying on track for the Widow Of Larkspur Inn myself. I've been so busy that when I do have time to read and I start it, I get not really bored, but just to the point I think about other things I could be doing. Last night, a friend loaned me the Grimms complete book of fairy tales. I started it last night. Talk about morbid, but for some reason, I love it.

I don't know how to explain what I'm making for the fireplace. It's a bunch of different crocheted pieces connected together in fall colors. I'll be sure to take a picture when I'm done.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Happy Homemaker Monday

   As I look outside my window::: So far today, it is cold and gloomy! Right now I am:::  Sitting on the couch under my crocheted afghan. Thinking and pondering::: On Thanksgiving!  What to fix.  I think I'm getting carried away, but I love it.  On my bedside table::: I haven't been doing much reading lately and I should. Duck Commander Family by Willie and Korie Robertson Frozen by Sarah Nathan and Sela Roman On my tv tonight::: American Horror Story Some Doctor Who specials Playing on the radio::: I don't have anything playing right now, but I'm obsessed with James Blunt's new song, Bonfire Heart. The video is amazing too.  I love the story behind the video.  The people in it are NOT actors.  The wedding scene towards the end, he actually crashed a wedding and captured the bride and grooms first dance.  Amazing.  And, not only is his voice and music wonderful, he's a total hottie. On the menu for ...

Blogmas 2014 - Day 13 How Are You Counting Down To Christmas

Ok, honestly....  I'm not.  I have this gorgeous advent calendar that is 3 building with little numbered doors all over them.  I haven't gotten it out for lack of space and really small children.  Maybe next year.  Also, Ben has been all over the lego ones and stuff so I figure, I'll pick up some next year or as I see them now this year, so each kid can have their own next year.  I don't know maybe I'll just make them if I'm feeling crafty and find the time.  It actually hit us all at once on Saturday that Christmas was less than 2 weeks away.
