Happy Homemaker Monday

The Weather:::
It's 45 degrees.  It's starting to feel like winter.

Right now I am:
Sitting in the living room, listening to the kids fight on the couch.

Thinking:
I need to go grocery shopping...

On my reading pile:::

I haven't been reading anything lately.  It's time to pick up my books again.

On my tv:::
Last night's Breaking Amish and tonight Bones and Mob Doctor.

On the menu for this week:::

Monday - Buffalo Chicken dip and hamburger cheese dip
Tuesday - Creamy Chicken Florentine, bread
Wednesday - Sweet and Sour Porkchops
Thursday - Stone Soup Family Night at Ben's school
Friday - Bourbon Chicken and rice
Saturday -
Sunday -

On my to do list:::
Laundry
Dishes
Kitchen
What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
I'm working on a nursing apron, and then I really need to finish my banner for the fireplace.

Homemaking Tips:::
I don't have anything, although this does remind me that I have to make more laundry and dish detergent.

Looking around the house:::
The house is a mess.  I need to finish cleaning, if only I wasn't so exhausted.

From the camera:::

On my prayer list:::
My husband, as he starts his new job today.

Bible verse, Devotional:::
The Lord is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusts.  I am helped, so my heart rejoices; with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Hope your husband's job is going well so far, prayers for that :)

I know how it feels to need to get the house tidied up and just not having the energy. Ugh!

Hope you have a fantastic week, I see you have lots of yummy food on the menu :)

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Happy Homemaker Monday

   As I look outside my window::: So far today, it is cold and gloomy! Right now I am:::  Sitting on the couch under my crocheted afghan. Thinking and pondering::: On Thanksgiving!  What to fix.  I think I'm getting carried away, but I love it.  On my bedside table::: I haven't been doing much reading lately and I should. Duck Commander Family by Willie and Korie Robertson Frozen by Sarah Nathan and Sela Roman On my tv tonight::: American Horror Story Some Doctor Who specials Playing on the radio::: I don't have anything playing right now, but I'm obsessed with James Blunt's new song, Bonfire Heart. The video is amazing too.  I love the story behind the video.  The people in it are NOT actors.  The wedding scene towards the end, he actually crashed a wedding and captured the bride and grooms first dance.  Amazing.  And, not only is his voice and music wonderful, he's a total hottie. On the menu for ...

Blogmas 2014 - Day 13 How Are You Counting Down To Christmas

Ok, honestly....  I'm not.  I have this gorgeous advent calendar that is 3 building with little numbered doors all over them.  I haven't gotten it out for lack of space and really small children.  Maybe next year.  Also, Ben has been all over the lego ones and stuff so I figure, I'll pick up some next year or as I see them now this year, so each kid can have their own next year.  I don't know maybe I'll just make them if I'm feeling crafty and find the time.  It actually hit us all at once on Saturday that Christmas was less than 2 weeks away.
