Happy Homemaker Monday

Just a quick note.  This is my 500th post!  Yay!  Alright, now on to Happy Homemaker Monday.

The Weather:::
It's starting to be more like fall around here.  I could do without the 80s but, I should complain because even that is cooler than what we were having a couple of weeks ago.

Right now I am:
Sitting on the couch watching the Today Show.

Thinking:
Hoping these lab people for our life insurance, get our messages to reschedule.  I cannot give a urine sample 2 times in 2 or so hours.  Also, I'd really like a nap.

On my reading pile:::
I haven't been reading anything, and it makes me sad.

On my tv:::
At some point today I need to try to watch Breaking Amish and The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

On the menu for this week:::
I haven't been able to plan the menu yet, so as of right now, I'm flying by the seat of my pants.

Monday -
Tuesday -
Wednesday -
Thursday -
Friday -
Saturday -
Sunday -

On my to do list:::
Laundry
Pick up the living room and kitchen

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
Nothing at the moment, but I'm hoping to work on some halloween decorations.

Looking around the house:::
The living room floor is littered with children toys, and the laundry basket in the hallway is overflowing with clothing for me to was.  Sydney is asleep (she's feeling a little under the weather) on the couch and Rylie is asleep in her playpen.  Morning nap time... I'm hoping to participate soon.

From the camera:::

On my prayer list:::
Anyone who needs it.  I'm praying as the needs come up.  I just can't think of any off the top of my head other than my kiddos, specifically Sydney who has been sick since Friday.

Bible verse, Devotional:::
Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.  Sufficient for a day is its own evil. ~ Matthew 6:34

I am trying to make this scripture in Matthew my motto, since I tend to be an anxious worrier. Hope you got to have your nap. I love naps too. Have a wonderful week.

Oh if I could only learn to not worry, I would have so much extra energy.

Hope you get a nap in and hope the pregnancy is coming along well :)

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Blogmas 2014- Day 1 Favorite Christmas Tradition

This year, I'm participating in Sandra's, at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, Blogmas 2014.  If you want to join in, you can go over to her post, by clicking here , and see what it's all about.   When I was a kid, growing up, we never had fake trees.  I loved everything about them. The smell, the way they looked, and even more so, the going out as a family in the cold.  It was always a hunt whether at a tree far or a parking lot full of precut trees.  When I was younger it was the parking lot.  There was a place about a mile from our house that we would drive to.  We'd walk through tons of trees leaning against walls and fences.  My dad would hold each one up, shaking them a little bit and asking what we thought.  We all got to be involved in finding the perfect tree.  As we got older, we started going to tree farms instead of the parking lot.  We'd get a sled and a saw and walk between aisles and aisles in fields, full of gorgeou...
