New Year Fun 2013

Well, here we are New Year's Eve 2013.  I'm joining in, over on  Diary of a Stay at Home Mom with the fun of seeing what this last year brought.

January

Happy New Year everyone!

February

(My first post for February was a Happy Homemaker Monday, so I went to the second post.)

As I sit here typing this at the kitchen table, the kids are in the living room watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates and playing something with babies and bad guys.

March

I've been sick with pneumonia so hopefully this week gets better.  It's not starting off on a high note...

April

(My first post for April was a Happy Homemaker Monday, so I went to the second post.)

I sure hope that everyone else had an amazing Easter weekend.

May

I missed last week due to technical difficulties, but I'm back this week!  Hope every one had a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day.

June

I know I have been MIA for a while. I'm sorry, my laptop has died and I've been left with just my iPad.

July

YAY!!!! I finally got my laptop back from the shop!!!!!  Hopefully I'll be back to normal blogging in a week.

August

I know that I said I would be back with a post to finish my vacation, but honestly I've been sidetracked.

September

Today was Sydney's first day of preschool.  She's growing up so fast!

October

It's fall!!!  Fall is here!!!

November

This morning it was warm and beautiful.  Took Ben to the Dr. at 11:45 and it was 65 degrees.  We came out an hour later and it was 15 degrees cooler.  We grabbed ice cream, came home ate lunch and I went outside to get the Halloween decorations down and it was sleeting on me.

December

So much has been going on here with the holiday season and Ben having surgery.

I can't wait to see what the year 2014 will bring.  I mean besides our new addition to the family.

You know the best part is that I can remember every.single.photo that you posted and the posts. Can't believe how much your kids have grown, especially the littlest...goodness.

Wishing you a blessed New Year and all of the best, you certainly deserve it.

Love and hugs,

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Blogmas 2014- Day 1 Favorite Christmas Tradition

This year, I'm participating in Sandra's, at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, Blogmas 2014.  If you want to join in, you can go over to her post, by clicking here , and see what it's all about.   When I was a kid, growing up, we never had fake trees.  I loved everything about them. The smell, the way they looked, and even more so, the going out as a family in the cold.  It was always a hunt whether at a tree far or a parking lot full of precut trees.  When I was younger it was the parking lot.  There was a place about a mile from our house that we would drive to.  We'd walk through tons of trees leaning against walls and fences.  My dad would hold each one up, shaking them a little bit and asking what we thought.  We all got to be involved in finding the perfect tree.  As we got older, we started going to tree farms instead of the parking lot.  We'd get a sled and a saw and walk between aisles and aisles in fields, full of gorgeou...
