Attempting to be a Super Mom

Sorry I'm late today... I've been busy with being lazy the first half of the day and getting work done the rest of the day. The weather..... Right now I am.... Sitting in bed, listening for the laundry to tell me it's time to be changed around. Thinking.... About how tired I am but that I don't want to go to bed yet because I want to spend a little time with my husband when he gets home. On my reading pile.... Not much of anything at this moment. On my TV..... Today I watched my Sister Wives and Breaking Amish: LA.  Right now I'm watching Hotel Transylvania for the bajillionth time with the kiddos. What I found while surfing the net.... Nothing at this moment. On the menu for this week.... Monday  - Bacon and cheesy eggs Tuesday  -  Henry Ts Wednesday  - Pork Chops Thursday  - German Pancakes Friday  - Savory beef and noodles Saturday  -  Sunday  -  On my to do list.... Well, I accomplished almost everything I wanted...

I know that I said I would be back with a post to finish my vacation, but honestly I've been sidetracked.  Maybe I'll get around to posting it tomorrow.  I've been lazy this week.  Honestly, I haven't been sleeping much.  The kids have been sick and I, like any mother I'm sure, can't sleep well when my little ones aren't doing well.  We moved downstairs recently to be closer to the kids without them in our room, but when one is sick we decided we'd let them all sleep in our bedroom anyway.  It makes it easier on them and us.  Rylie hasn't been sleeping either.  I got maybe 2 or 3 hours last night between all the times Rylie was up.  I'm not here to complain, just stating where I've been, and the reason for my lack of posting. Also, Sydney has had dance camp every night this week about 20-30 minutes away from the house.  It's been quite interesting and Sydney LOVES it!  She looks so cute in her leotard and tights.  Her dance s...

The weather..... This summer we are having crazy weather.  Usually we are in the high 90s or in the 100s, and this is our weather forecast for this week: Right now I am.... Sitting on the couch with my monsters watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets... again!  Poor sick Rylie baby is laying in her playpen, asleep. Thinking.... How lazy I want to be today.  Sydney has dance camp this evening, but other than that, I'm lounging around. On my reading pile.... Finishing up The Duggars: 20 and counting On my TV..... I have no idea.  I have some shows on the DVR to watch and maybe after the kids go to bed this evening I'll watch Borgia on Netflix. What I found while surfing the net.... I have nothing this week. On the menu for this week.... I've got to go grocery shopping Wednesday so I have a menu only through Tuesday. It's late and I'm exhausted from a busy day at home.  I just thought I would stop in real quick.  Ben and Rylie have been sick this weekend and now I can't tell if I'm coming down with it or if I'm having other issues.  I have had an awful headache for days.  Now I'm having pains that are like menstrual cramps only worse.  It's excruciating and if it doesn't get any better, I may be calling my OB. We got up this morning and I started cleaning the house.  The house wasn't too bad, but there was a lot of little things that needed to be done.  I put on my apron, and to work I went, sweeping, washing dishes, etc. The kids were snuggling up Harley.  Ben has been afraid to hold her because of her claws so I taught him the correct way to hold her and he was surprised it was so easy.  He's so gentle. We decided this year that maybe we would take a couple of extended weekend vacations instead of a big one.  We wanted to go to Table Rock Lake and stay in Shawn's Aunt and Uncle's lake house. We used to stay there all the time when we were younger, but when you have multiple small children, and a growing extended family, it gets more and more difficult to all stay there for a few days.  We haven't been in a couple of years.  I didn't want to make this the only vacation for my kids.  I want them to see things and do stuff they normally don't get to do or see at home.  We decided that Eureka Springs Arkansas is about 20-30 miles from where we go to the lake, and it would be a beautiful place to visit.  Shawn wasn't too excited about Eureka Springs as he was just anxious to get to the lake. We left Wednesday evening when Shawn got home from work.  I had packed little bags for the kids with things I had from the dollar section at Target, a few books that...
