Problems with Motivation

I'm having a hard time getting motivated today.  I feel like I was busy all weekend, and didn't sleep well this weekend either.  I had a great weekend, don't get me wrong.  Friday night, we went to Ihop with some friends and then we all hung out back at our house until about 3:30 am.

Saturday, we went grocery shopping then Shawn had his nerd session (Dungeons and Dragons) at a friend's house until about 2:30 am.  While he was there, my sister, brother in law, and nephew came over.  I hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving, so it was really nice to spend time with them.  Ben doesn't get a lot of time with other kids either so playing with CJ (his 1 year old cousin) was nice for him.  I was surprised at how well Ben acted since he's never really had to share his toys or his snacks before.

Sunday, we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house.  It was so nice to see them!  I've really missed them a lot.  I can't believe how much my cousins have grown.  They are really turning into sweet, respectful, good looking, young men.  Also, Sunday was Shawn's brother's birthday.  He turned 21 so we all went to the Argosy.  We ate at the buffet which was wonderful as always.  Because of Ben's allergy we decided to bring him outside food.  I asked him what he wanted and he said tacos so we went to Taco Bell for him.  Shawn's family also brought Ben candy so he could have a yummy dessert.  Then, after dinner, everybody went and gambled while I kept Ben occupied by "investigating for funny business" in the rest of the casino.  Ben liked the decorated ceilings.  After the Argosy, we went back to Shawn's parent's house for cake and Big Love.

Today, I'm exhausted.  I'm not motivated to do anything and I need to snap out of it this afternoon.  We'll see how that goes.  I'm in desperate need of tips for breaking the lack of motivation trend I've been in lately.  Please help.

Tomorrow is Shawn and I's two year anniversary.  He has a test before the new semester starts tomorrow evening.  I will hardly see Shawn on our anniversary and we have no money to celebrate with at all.  I'm kind of bumming about it.

On the bright side, 7 weeks from tomorrow our baby finally be here.  We still have hardly any clothing for her, haven't made her bedding, haven't gotten anything back from my sister yet.  I know everything will work out and I'm going to have tons of help, but I'm starting to stress.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Blogmas 2014- Day 1 Favorite Christmas Tradition

This year, I'm participating in Sandra's, at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, Blogmas 2014.  If you want to join in, you can go over to her post, by clicking here , and see what it's all about.   When I was a kid, growing up, we never had fake trees.  I loved everything about them. The smell, the way they looked, and even more so, the going out as a family in the cold.  It was always a hunt whether at a tree far or a parking lot full of precut trees.  When I was younger it was the parking lot.  There was a place about a mile from our house that we would drive to.  We'd walk through tons of trees leaning against walls and fences.  My dad would hold each one up, shaking them a little bit and asking what we thought.  We all got to be involved in finding the perfect tree.  As we got older, we started going to tree farms instead of the parking lot.  We'd get a sled and a saw and walk between aisles and aisles in fields, full of gorgeou...
