As I look outside my window:::
It's 15 degrees out right now.  It's seriously cold, and I'm not digging it.  Especially after the 60 some degree day we had yesterday.

Right now I am::: 
I'm taking a moment to sit down on the couch before picking up Ben from school.

Thinking and pondering:::
Getting prepared for the baby.  Coming up with a name and getting everything ready as well as Rylie and Sydney's birthdays before the baby gets here and then the out of state wedding a month after the baby is born that we will be attending.  I'm stressing!
 
On my bedside table:::
Bridget Jones the Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding.  I'm rereading it so that I can read the new one.
 
On my tv tonight:::
I'm not really sure at the moment.

Listening to:::
The TV is on as background noise.

On the menu for this week:::
Monday - Baked tacos
Tuesday - Ham and Egg casserole
Wednesday - Creme brulee french toast
Thursday - Lemon Pork chops with mustard sauce
Friday - Slow cooked honey garlic chicken and mashed potatoes

Sunday - 

On my to do list:::
Pick up Ben from school
Laundry

Monday - Ben's 100 Day of School
Tuesday - Dance

Thursday - PJ day at Syd's school

My Crochet Mood Blanket and a baby blanket
 
My simple pleasure:::
Cooking in my kitchen when it's already clean.  

Lesson learned the past week:::  
Oh, there is so much, I'm just having a hard time following these learned lessons.

The house is full chaos. The girls have toys everywhere that they will be picking up shortly.

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. Petty

This evening our sweet little Petty went to Kitty Heaven.  The cancer had spread to her brain, causing her to have odd behaviors.  The tumor in her mouth, or the side of her face, had pulled down her ear canal on that side and caused her eye to twitch, which the vet said caused constant vertigo.  The cancer had also spread to her intestines causing her to loose control of her bowels and bladder and she was bleeding internally.  While she didn't appear to be suffering, there is no way that she wasn't.  We sadly had to have her put down. Yes, I'm meowing at her in the video.  Sometimes she would answer when you would do that, but she would always come to you. She was such a cute little love bug.  I named her Perpetua, from the Bridget Jones movies, and later we shortened it to Petty, just because we are a family of nicknames.  I remember when we first got her and she was so tiny.  She looked like a lemur and she was all black with a cou...

Happy Homemaker Monday

The Weather::: Right now, it's 30 degrees.  It's supposed to get up to 40 today though. Right now I am: Sitting at the kitchen table with Scotland in my lap.  Rylie is playing with a remote control My Little Pony scooter toy on the kitchen floor. Thinking: How busy today is, what all I need to get done, and the walk I want to go on. On my reading pile::: Right now, I'm reading a book my sister-in-law loaned me called Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard On my tv::: I've got several shows to catch up on, just not sure how I'm going to fit TV in today.  Maybe during nap time. I've been really enjoying Super Store lately.  It really reminds me of The Office but in a Walmart type store.  It's nice to just laugh and laugh.  It's a lot easier to watch vlogs while I work on the iPad.
