Happy Birthday Scotland!

Ok, so it wouldn't be me, if this weren't late....

Three years ago, I gave birth to sweet little Scottie.

Since little Scottie has turned 3, I'm going to post a bunch of fun stuff about her, and then pictures from her 3 years of life, including tons from the last year.

  • Her full name is Scotland Paige Tiemann.
  • We named her Scotland after my dad, who was Scott. Paige was just a name we liked that was feminine and more "normal" incase she grew up hating her first name.
  • We kept her name secret from everyone but close family until she was born because we didn't want anyone to tell us they didn't like it or try to get us to change it.
  • Her birthday is April 16, 2014.
  • She is the 4th child out of 4.
  • She looks up to her big sisters and does everything they do.
  • She is so funny! She makes me laugh everyday.
  • She doesn't typically like new people, or even not new people that she doesn't see very often.
  • She loves playing with her Paw Patrol toys and generally drags them with us, everywhere we go.
  • She is ornery as all get out.
  • Every single day, she tells me "Mommy, you my best friend, and Daddy my best friend, and Ben my best friend, and Ni-nee (Sydney) my best friend, and Lylie (Rylie) my best friend. You all my best friend."
  • She is so cuddly and loves hugs and kisses.
  • She falls asleep with me every night, on my arm, and then I move her to her bed.
  • She loves playing outside, drawing with chalk, or out at the playground.
  • Her favorite color is pink.
  • Her favorite food is pizza.
  • Her favorite TV shows are Paw Patrol, Octonauts, Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly, and the Teletubbies.
  • She is in trouble a lot for fighting with her sisters. I'm sure that comes with the age or being the youngest. We are constantly working on using her words and not her fists.
  • She has her own sense of style with sometimes includes a single glove.
  • She likes to stick her tongue out and make goofy noises just to make people laugh.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...

Blogmas 2014- Day 1 Favorite Christmas Tradition

This year, I'm participating in Sandra's, at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, Blogmas 2014.  If you want to join in, you can go over to her post, by clicking here , and see what it's all about.   When I was a kid, growing up, we never had fake trees.  I loved everything about them. The smell, the way they looked, and even more so, the going out as a family in the cold.  It was always a hunt whether at a tree far or a parking lot full of precut trees.  When I was younger it was the parking lot.  There was a place about a mile from our house that we would drive to.  We'd walk through tons of trees leaning against walls and fences.  My dad would hold each one up, shaking them a little bit and asking what we thought.  We all got to be involved in finding the perfect tree.  As we got older, we started going to tree farms instead of the parking lot.  We'd get a sled and a saw and walk between aisles and aisles in fields, full of gorgeou...
