Attempting to be a Super Mom

What a week this is... I am stressed beyond belief, but I'm trying to stay relaxed and take as much time for myself and snuggles with the kiddos to avoid feeling overwhelmed. We found out recently that we will be moving next door.  It's just like the place we are currently living except it has an extra bedroom.  Lord knows, we need the extra bedroom, although the kids are still sleeping in the same rooms.  Ben and Sydney will be sharing a room and Rylie and Scotland will be in the room with Shawn and I for now.  We'll use the downstairs bedrooms as a playroom and office.  I can't wait to have room for the kids in their room, because their toys are elsewhere.  We gave Ben the option of his own room or to share with Sydney.  He wanted his own room, but didn't want to be on a different floor than us, so he's happy to stay with Sydney for now. I need to get started on packing.  We have so much stuff.  That's what life as a pack rat with 4 kid...

I'm working hard to roll with the punches, but it's getting difficult. So, I've started a couple of blog posts over the past few days but because I've been so busy, I never got to finish them.  I'm going to try to compile them all into one blog post now since so much has happened. I started the week out with a fun crafty idea.   It's a warm compress.  I think I'm going to make them for the kids because their room is so cold at night, to heat up their beds.  I used rice for the first one but was told I could use flax seed to avoid the rice smell.  I also thought about putting in essential oils.  It turned out really cute though. I also have been working on my hexagon blanket a little bit when I get the chance. First of all, I'm going to apologize that this post and the next one or two will be all over the place.  I'm so scattered and tired but have so much I've been meaning to say over the past month or two that I feel the need to post at least a couple of pictures and stories from all the big things we've done around here. Ok, so earlier today, I posted that I was in a funk.  Well, I never really snapped out of it.  I even ordered Pizza Hut for dinner.  I've decided that we are all entitled to be lazy and have our off days.  Tomorrow is a new day, and hopefully, it will be better.  It has to be, because I can't take the house looking like this any longer.  Tomorrow promises to be a busy day, which I don't know if I'm excited about.  I mean I love that Ben goes to preschool and has a good time and I love my RCIA classes, but I have so much stuff to do and not so much time to do it.  I have errands to run, and at this moment, I can't even concentr...
