Stress and Bedtime

I'm laying in bed tonight. Rylie keeps waking up extremely fussy and I'm anticipating the moment that Ben and Sydney decide their beds aren't good enough and they'd like to pile into mine. I don't care how small the kids or how big the bed... No bed comfortably fits 5 people. As I lay here, I'm making a lovely checklist of all the things I need to do tomorrow and then the rest of the week in a very small amount of time. I'm really stressing myself out and now I just feel uneasy at the idea of sleep. Like I should be up working on checking things off of these lists. Ugh. I'm always at my worst when I lay down at night. That's the time my mind starts to wonder. Hopefully I can put it to rest and get a couple hours of sleep before getting up bright and early.

Late Sunday Night

I sure hope everyone had a nice and happy Thanksgiving.  I know we sure did.  We did not battle any crazy black Friday shoppers although my husband did go out pretty early Friday morning to get a few things from Walmart and then way later in the day we went to Costco for a new TV, blu-ray, and sound system (not really a sale anymore than the normal Costco prices).  I know, a lot of big purchases, but Shawn just got a new job that pays significantly better than his previous job, which was not a bad paying job either, by any means, so we thought, lets just do it now, and then start saving for a house after Christmas.  I'm so excited for our future. Ok, back to this weekend.  Friday night, when we came home, Shawn set up the TV and all the fun accessories and moved the old living room TV upstairs to our bedroom. Laying in bed, watching TV, is a lot different now.  It's insanely awesome for this TV junkie mom. Saturday, Shawn cleaned the carpets for me.  He's my hero.

Happy Homemaker Monday

Our Happy Halloween

Wow, it has taken me so long to get this posted, but it's so packed with pictures and fun events so you have to excuse me for my tardiness of the post. Oh my goodness.  I had no idea that when I had kids that eventually every holiday that you already love, would be drawn out even more.  I have to say.  I'm totally enjoying every part of it.  The kids are getting more and more excited.  I'm sitting here reminiscing about the fun we've had over the past couple of weeks.  It's been a whirlwind of pumpkin patches, decorating, carving, painting, parties, parades, costumes, trick-r-treating and of course candy. The celebrations all started with a little decorating at the house.  While we did a tiny bit of decorating inside, the outside is where we really focused on. I love how cute it all looked. I'm a scarecrow fanatic by the way.  The scare crows will stay out after Thanksgiving while I'm getting ready to put up the Halloween decorations now.
