Attempting to be a Super Mom

Ok, so of course we've been on our fair share of field trips, but this was Rylie's first field trip that was actually hers!  We went with her preschool class to the pumpkin patch.  She was so excited and even woke up talking about it.  Shawn blocked off the morning in his schedule so that he could go too. I've always been the one to go on field trips with the kids.  I was so glad that Shawn got to go too. We had a really nice time. I have to say though, this was the first field trip I've ever been on where literally every student had a parent with them.  Often they do buddies because about half of the class doesn't have their parents able to attend. The teachers in that school are so sweet too. Rylie was so excited to spend the whole time with us and her good friend Scarlet. Here's some fun pictures from our trip:

I've been completely MIA from anything online that can't easily be done on my phone or iPad.  My blog and vlog need some lovin' and I'm hoping to get some editing done and line up a couple of blog posts as well.  Consider this me, dusting off my good ole blog and youtube account. I've been trying to upload my pictures from this summer onto my Facebook account all morning and for some reason they won't load.  Facebook is not liking me today and it's driving me bonkers.  I'll get it eventually but it's frustrating me that I spent all morning selecting them and then they don't load. Now, I need to figure out lunch for myself, Scottie, and Rylie. School is officially going now.  The big kids are in their full 2nd week of school.  Ben is in 2nd grade and Sydney is in Kindergarten.  Rylie starts preschool next week, and 2 mornings a week it will be just me and Scotland.  How crazy is that?!?! Even more crazy than the kids growing up so quickly...

I seem to have caught whatever awful head cold the kids have been passing back and forth.  I feel like it's wiping me out more than it has the kids though.  Rylie on the other hand seems to have a stomach bug on top of the head thing. I don't want that at all!!!  I've been doing lots of tylenol cold and sinus. I want so desperately to do hot tea, but the weather has been in the 80s, and with my hormones still crazy from being pregnant with Scottie and now nursing, I can't stop sweating as it is.
