A Lot...

What a week this is... I am stressed beyond belief, but I'm trying to stay relaxed and take as much time for myself and snuggles with the kiddos to avoid feeling overwhelmed. We found out recently that we will be moving next door.  It's just like the place we are currently living except it has an extra bedroom.  Lord knows, we need the extra bedroom, although the kids are still sleeping in the same rooms.  Ben and Sydney will be sharing a room and Rylie and Scotland will be in the room with Shawn and I for now.  We'll use the downstairs bedrooms as a playroom and office.  I can't wait to have room for the kids in their room, because their toys are elsewhere.  We gave Ben the option of his own room or to share with Sydney.  He wanted his own room, but didn't want to be on a different floor than us, so he's happy to stay with Sydney for now. I need to get started on packing.  We have so much stuff.  That's what life as a pack rat with 4 kid...

Whirlwind Update

Oh boy, we have been oh so busy here. There has been work, school, dance, family get togethers, birthdays, an anniversary, and so much more.  That's not including all the prep for what is about to happen for our family.  In the next 4 months, we will have Sydney and Rylie's birthdays, the birth of our new baby, and an out of state wedding we will be attending.  (Yes traveling with a 1 month old... what can I say, we are brave parents.) Her bed came before the bedding and the wall decals, so for the first few nights she slept with Ben's old crib sheet and Sydney's old crib blanket but she didn't care. Here she is now that the bed and area have been made her own.  She loves it!   I finally got the kids school pictures up.  I need to get a more updated one of Rylie.  The kids don't even know who she is, in that picture.  I worked on...

A Wonderful Mother's Day Weekend

I feel like I am the luckiest lady in the world.  I have three amazing children and a wonderful husband.  Some days I wonder what I did to deserve such happiness.  This weekend was a wonderful one, filled with family time. I posted already about the first half of my Saturday here .  Truth is, our weekend started even before Saturday.  Friday afternoon, we went to Topeka to take my Grandpa Moose out to eat a late lunch or early dinner for his birthday.  We went to the Olive Garden and then for milkshakes at Baskin Robbins.  Yum yum!  Ok, so back to Saturday.  Saturday afternoon, the play date fell through.  That happens sometimes.  We all have lives and sometimes that comes in the way of our plans.  It didn't stop us from going to the park to play though.   After the park, we went shopping for some things to keep the dog in the backyard, and for planting supplies for Mother's Day. ...
