Quick update!

I promise I have not forgotten about my blog.  I have so much a want and need to post about, but my lap top power cord bit the big one, and I'm trying to find the best deal for a new one.  I have a desk top set up in the office/sewing room, but with 2 small children, it's hard to sneak away for long enough.  If I'm lucky Ben naps, and that's what's happening now, but he only naps one or two days a week.  Like I said, I haven't forgotten, it's just going to take me a little bit, at least until we get the new lap top power cord.

The weather..... It appears that Spring has sprung...  Some nice spring storms and mostly warmer weather. Right now I am.... Sitting outside at the table on the front porch while the kids run and play or stop to eat their snacks.    Thinking.... Ugh Monday... Mondays always seem to be the worst days for me. Starting a new one that I picked up last week at one of my favorite stores, Brits.  Jane Austen:  Her Life And Letters by William Austen-Leigh and  Richard Arthur Austen-Leigh On my TV..... I don't really have a menu plan at the moment.  Shawn started a diet full of prepackaged meals and it's thrown my current plan ...

Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods: Cold and icy and it's supposed to snow... Things that make me happy:   Waking up and feeling the urge to be productive.  I just feel amazing when I get up and actually want to get things done around the house. Book I'm reading: The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson What's on my TV today:   Harry's Law is on tonight and I'm super excited.   On the menu for dinner: mini penne with tomato and veggie sauce On my To Do List: Clean the room out to set up the kids bedroom Laundry  New Recipe I tried or want to try soon: Taco Soup   I found this recipe on another blog and it looks amazing! In the craft basket: Wall decor for the kids bedroom Looking forward to this week: Hopefully getting the kids room done and ready to buy Ben's new bed, and get his big boy mattress here.
