Meatballs

When I was much younger, I got a cookbook as a birthday or Christmas present from my Grandma called Clueless in the kitchen.  It was my very first cookbook and probably what got me started in cooking.  I can't seem to find the book at this moment.  I'm sure it's packed away in the garage somewhere because we have no room for all my cookbooks anywhere else in the house.  One of my favorite things to make out of there was the meatballs.  I love spaghetti and meatballs, meatball sandwiches, and Hawaiian meatballs.  This is not the exact recipe from the book but this is very close.

Meatballs

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
salt
pepper
garlic powder
Italian seasoning

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg and bread crumbs.  Season with the salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning to your liking.
Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.  Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked all the way through.
When I remove them from the cookie sheet, I like to place them on a paper towel to catch any left behind grease before serving.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...
