Christmas Ornaments

Ok, so I can't take credit for these cute little ornaments at all. We got them from Nerd Nest. If you haven't gone to their blog, YOU SHOULD! They are such a cute couple who are quite crafty and creative and have an adorable family.

Santa Hat Ornament

What you will need:

red construction paper
cardboard (I used an old cereal box)
cotton balls
scissors
glue

1. Glue the paper to the cardboard.

2. Cut out the shape of a Santa hat.

3. Glue the cotton balls to the Santa hat.

Super cute and very easy!

Button Wreath Ornament

What you'll need:

Green construction paper

cardboard (I used an old cereal box)

green buttons

glue

scissors

1. Glue the paper to the cardboard.

2. Cut out a wreath shape.

3. Glue the buttons to the wreath.

Another super easy and really cute ornament. Of course I put a whole into each of them using a whole punch and put yarn through it so we can hang them on the tree.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for. I have pretty much everything a girl could want. I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now. Petty

This evening our sweet little Petty went to Kitty Heaven. The cancer had spread to her brain, causing her to have odd behaviors. The tumor in her mouth, or the side of her face, had pulled down her ear canal on that side and caused her eye to twitch, which the vet said caused constant vertigo. The cancer had also spread to her intestines causing her to loose control of her bowels and bladder and she was bleeding internally. While she didn't appear to be suffering, there is no way that she wasn't. We sadly had to have her put down. Yes, I'm meowing at her in the video. Sometimes she would answer when you would do that, but she would always come to you. She was such a cute little love bug. I named her Perpetua, from the Bridget Jones movies, and later we shortened it to Petty, just because we are a family of nicknames. I remember when we first got her and she was so tiny. Happy Homemaker Monday

The Weather::: Right now, it's 30 degrees. It's supposed to get up to 40 today though. Right now I am: Sitting at the kitchen table with Scotland in my lap. Rylie is playing with a remote control My Little Pony scooter toy on the kitchen floor. Thinking: How busy today is, what all I need to get done, and the walk I want to go on. On my reading pile::: Right now, I'm reading a book my sister-in-law loaned me called Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard On my tv::: I've got several shows to catch up on, just not sure how I'm going to fit TV in today. Maybe during nap time. I've been really enjoying Super Store lately. It really reminds me of The Office but in a Walmart type store. It's nice to just laugh and laugh. It's a lot easier to watch vlogs while I work on the iPad.
