Slow Cooker Parmesan Honey Pork Roast

This recipe was another yummy looking Pinterest find.  The actual recipe came from Six Sisters' Stuff.  It turned out absolutely delicious.

Slow Cooker Parmesan Honey Pork Roast

Ingredients:

1 (2-3 lb) boneless pork roast
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp dried basil
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp corn starch
1/4 cup cold water

Directions:

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.  Place the roast in the crockpot.  In a small bowl, combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil and salt; pour over the roast.  Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.  Remove the meat to a serving platter; keep warm.  Skim the fat from the cooking juices; transfer to a small sauce pan.  Bring to a boil.  In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and water.  Mix until smooth.  Gradually stir the water mix into the sauce pan.  Bring to a boil; cook and stir for about 2 minutes until thickened.  Slice the roast and serve with gravy.

This is probably the most amazing smelling thing I've cooked lately.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...
