Looking around the house:::

From the camera:::

Something fun to share:::
We've been exploring with new restaurants and food types with Ben, since he's never been able to eat at most restaurants because of his peanut allergy.  This last week he tried donuts, Chinese food, and a BBQ place he hadn't been able to have before as well as apples dipped in peanut butter.

I am so happy that you guys are able to explore new culinary worlds now that his food options have opened up. Seeing someone experience something new makes it fun and exciting for everyone, and I hope you enjoy it.

Jen, Hope you are having a great week as well.

Sandra, you got my husband and I hooked on the first season so we've been anxiously waiting for the new episodes. Also, thankfully my son was one of the 20% that outgrow and peanut allergy. When you hear the odds are 20%, you're not very optimistic, but God heard our prayers. This whole thing has been a huge learning experience for us though and now I know how to handle food allergies in the future.

Kristy, Thank you! My children are my biggest accomplishment in life. I just love them so much. The fire was nice and cozy. The first one of the season.

Melissa, Thank you. I'm so happy too. I am so passionate about food and it's wonderful to be able to share this passion fully with my kids.

Blogmas 2014 - Day 8 What Is On Your Wish List This Year

Oh my goodness, I'm really pretty easy to buy for.  I have pretty much everything a girl could want.  I mean of course I have a few things but I'm not really counting on anything because I already got a huge gift of the new car. I really love scarves, especially infinity scarves right now.  I'm beyond obsessed.   Fun gadgets, appliances, etc for my kitchen are always a win for me as well as cookbooks and decorations.  I'm so into all of it, and it's the best go to gift idea for me. A nice pair of rain boots or wellies.  I just bought some for all of my kids for Christmas, and I've been dying for my own for years. Vera Bradley!  I'm so in love with Vera Bradley.  I'd like a bigger purse, as well as a library tote bag. And honestly I've not asked for any of even these things because what I want more than anything else in the world, is our own house.  I want to buy a house for my kids to grow up in an...
