Yesterday, I was feeling down on myself. We were going to Kansas City to have dinner with my in-laws and I couldn't find anything to wear. It's getting hot here and I don't have really any clothing for the summer. What I do have is a couple of tank tops and a couple of capris. This normally isn't an issue except that I need to shave my underarms and my husband took the razor with him on his trip. I'm sure most people wouldn't even notice since my hair is so super light, but my insecurities got the best of me and I broke down. After crying about it, I went to Facebook. I think I went there to find that I'm not the only one that feels like this sometimes. I found that it's a common theme among moms. Especially moms with very young children. That made me feel better. Last night, I came home to find a bag of goodies from a Mommy friend of mine. It was so sweet of her. It had a couple of t-shirts, razors, a candle, gummy bears, cute socks, a nice yummy smelling soap, and play dough. It was so nice of her. I really appreciate her kindness and hope to return the favor soon.
