Homemaking tips:::
After doing many loads of laundry, sometimes my washing machine starts to smell like mildew.  To get the smell out, sprinkle the bottom of the washer with baking soda.  Pour some white vinegar over the baking soda and then run the washer on the hottest setting.  The smell should be gone.

Looking around my house:::
Rylie is sitting in my lap laughing and cooing as I type.  Ben is watching My Little Pony on the iPad and Sydney is playing with her baby doll.  I love that even when we are all doing our own thing,  we are still together.

From the camera:::

On my prayer list:::
My brother-in-law and his girlfriend.  They are going through a lot of stress right now and a lot of change all at once and need all the prayers or positive energy they can get.

Yea, I figure I should see what all the fuss is about. I probably won't finish it. I'm bad about abandoning books that I lose interest in or have no interest in. I can't make myself read anything I don't care for. One of my friends said that it is horribly written as well.

Potato Soup

I found this recipe here .This one is meatless, but it is important to add that it is NOT dairy free. There are adjustments you can do to make it dairy free though. It’s quick and was really well liked.  Potato Soup 6-8 cups russet potatoes, peeled and chopped 1 yellow onion, diced 2 stalks celery, chopped 1 clove garlic 4 cups vegetable stock 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded 1/2 cup sour cream or cream 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Pinch red pepper flakes 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp olive oil In a large pot over medium heat, add the butter and olive oil. Once hot and melted together add the onions and celery. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add the potatoes and minced garlic to the pot and continue to sauté all of the ingredients for about 5 minutes. Add vegetable stock and increase th
